THE ELASTIC BAND WALK
Performing this workout, 3 steps each side, until failure can strengthen your hip flexors and abductor muscles resulting in less impact in your hips during the striking phase of the run. You can purchase these bands online, or at your local sports store and save yourself some pain and recovery time in the future. I’ve definitely felt a lot lighter on my feet and less impact on my knees since doing so. Give it a try!
